Welcome to A Friend Indeed Dog Training

Hi I’m Elly! I am a positive reinforcement trainer, certified in 2014 with Animal Behavior College and have been actively training ever since! My goal as a trainer is to help connect the missing pieces of communication between pet parent and canine companion. When you bridge communication, you end up with a dog and human who are more relaxed, confident and happy enjoying the world together.

You’ll often catch me with my 2 dogs, Atlas and Delilah! They both help me socialize other dogs and are some of the best travel buddies a girl could ask for. We also love being outdoors and enjoying the beauty Colorado has to offer!

Some training skills I specialize in include:

  • Social Skills
  • Aggression
  • Fear/Anxiety
  • Hiking/Camping Skills
  • Separation Anxiety

Why Choose Us

Positive Reinforcement

We focus on a positive reinforcement model for you and your canine companion aimed at creating a strong lasting bond between you both. We avoid dominance training as it has been disproven and can be detrimental to the relationship created between you and your canine companion.

In-Home and Group Lessons

We offer a variety of options depending on you and your dogs needs. Both in-home and group lessons can have there unique benefits. Feel free to ask us what we think would work best for you!

Incredible Customer Service

The truth is that dog training is just as much about training humans too. Because of this we need to make sure we are creating a good relationship with each other for the success of you and your canine companion. It’ll be on you to practice when we are not in a lesson, in order to set skills into place.

Continuous improvement

Being dedicated to our craft means continuous improvement is absolutely necessary. We are continuously taking new courses and practicing new skills to use with our clients and become better trainers year after year.
